In all seriousness though, I cannot recommend The Wire more. It still boggles me that I have totally fallen in love with a show so much, even when the show isn't even SF/F in nature (always been a snob for the genres). I've watched The Wire through now twice, and fully expect to watch it again.

Trust me, it is totally worth dumping whatever other entertainment you are involved in (well, with the possible exception of Skyrim from what I hear) and starting The Wire now.

And yes, I do believe I'm in the running for the Pope of the First Church of The Wire Evangelical Faith.

Game of Thrones is also very good...The sopranos and the wire are on my to do list. I already owned The Wire dvds, just haven't gotten around to seeing them.
