Then they should be pushing to end capitalism, because that is what drives every filmmaking project in modern culture: the bottom line. Not art, not telling a great story. But making money.

Every movie is a cash grab! That's the point of making a movie! Seriously, people are going to gripe that they will get, in all probability, a very good Middle Earth movie? Umm...ok, what's wrong with that?
