View original postI loved it! Very impressive story and overall movie-making. It was great to see a villain that wasn't "pure evil" and one-dimensional. It was also good to see that Khan wasn't killed.

View original postSo, the next movie is set up very nicely.....Kligons are pissed, Khan is still around, and the Enterprise just started their 5-year mission of exploration.

View original postAll of the complaints that I read were nitpicking and I didn't see a problem with any of them.

Agreed on all accounts.
View original postFinally, how excited are you to see the first JJ Star Wars movie? He knocked Into Darkness out of the park and he grew-up as a SW fan, not ST. Can't wait to see E7 in 2015!

I am super excited. I already caught myself wondering during the film how JJ will make SW look and feel different than Trek. Like you said, Trek didn't mean anything to him when he grew up but SW did. Will he lose the lens flares? Will he try to mimic the old trilogy? How will his own personal style come into play, when some Trekkies complained that he already turned their franchise into SW. I can't wait for the first pieces of news, images and much later scenes.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.
