To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air Chas Send a noteboard - 04/12/2009 02:56:21 AM
1. What is your favourite classic TV sitcom (by "classic" I generally mean anything before 2000 and the reality TV/medical drama/HBO-ization/cable dilution of the market phenomena)? Why?

Fresh Prince. Highly entertaining.

Or maybe Seinfeld.

2. Who is your favourite classic TV character? (Not necessarily from the same sitcom as above)

Tough one. I'm going to go with Cosby.

3. Do you like watching re-runs of old TV shows? If so, what are a few you like watching?

Love to. Watch Seinfeld all the time. When I was in school and had breaks between classes I always watched the various Cosby shows and Fresh Prince.

4. Do you own any TV sitcoms on DVD? If so, which ones?

I do not.

5. What decade would you consider the "golden age" of the sitcom?

Late 80's to mid-nineties. Though based on some of the shows on now it might end up being late 00's and early 10's.

6. Laugh tracks - irritating or bearable?

Bearable- usually. Some shows really over did it.

7. What sitcom did you hate the most and why?

According to Jim is the only one that really stands out in my memory.

8. What character on a TV sitcom irritated you the most and why?

Irkel. Creepy.

9. Which evil twin or brother/sister did you like best and why?

What shows had evil twins?

10. What spinoff do you think was the best? The worst?

Frasier. I can't think of another (as in Frasier is the only spinoff I can think of) to put as bad.

That's it. Switch your main dials to U and then set your UHF dial to 50.

That has gone right over my head.
