why do tribal cultures always have to be played by native american and black actors and actresses in hollywood movies? i mean, the actors did a great job with this movie, but i'm not sure if i should be insulted that the entirety of the na'vi culture was pretty much cast according to race.

other than that, and the heavyhandedness with which the bad guys were shown throughout the movie, i thought it was pretty watchable and have actually recommended it to other people. the whole movie seems to have been made to show to kids, but yet the action scenes were definitely not for children in some places. anyway, i would say 3.5/5 for this movie or 7/10 if you prefer. definitely enjoyably watchable, but not a movie you would go to for the plot development...
