Interesting idea Mark Send a noteboard - 30/12/2009 07:54:31 PM
It sounds to me from the tone of the narration and the reaction from Timothy Dalton that the Time Lords' resurrection was a direct result of the end of time, presumably allowing them to escape whatever happened in the Time War.

I don't buy Wilf being a Time Lord, but wouldn't be surprised if he ends up dying to protect the Doctor.

I reckon he is but we will soon find out one way or the other.

And my "off the wall, don't really believe it, but it would not surprise me if RTD went there" solution to the Doctor's prophecy and Donna's soon to be melting brain is - ten will die in a blaze of glory (wouldn't really surprise me if he does it saving the Master) and the time lord part of Donna's being is what regenerates into doctor eleven, thus cleansing Donna of her Time Lord issues.

I hadn't thought of that before, such a move if it happened could also deal with the regeneration issue in that it would set the clock back to one
