Right. I'm just saying that they either passed by the island, got lost (heeyuck), then returned in the storm that launched them into the statue and jungle... or it wasn't the same ship. (it was a pretty nice day when Jacob & MiB were on the beach) Maybe the writers decided to throw us a bone by showing the destruction of the statue, and it's since become inconsistent with the s5 ending.

The statue was still standing in the s5 finale, so it either wasn't them or they got pulled back. *NM*
