The "you" clearly implies some familiarity towards a certain person. The gholam as a construct, an "it". Thus "you" wouldn't fit to address him. Besides that, the gholam wasn't mentioned before LoC, therefore he is in no way obvious at the time of Asmo's murder.
RJ said that the Finn can't affect the Real World. That means one of them can't be the killer.
