Lastly, Rand wasn't that far gone yet to allow LTT to assume control. Slayer is either far enough gone that the change happens automatically, or he chooses to switch forms consciously.


we don't know that Asmo's attacker wasn't in TAR in the flesh ... opened a Gateway back and killed him from the other side. In fact if the kill was indeed Slayer that's almost certainly how it happened.
