RJ just said that it is intuitively obvious who killed Asmo. The how and where was just to explain why Asmo wasn't transmigrated. Nothing says that the explanation to this is as obvious as the identity of the killer. However, one has to find a solution to explain that these factors fit to your killer. IMO, the "weak balefire used by Graendal not at SG"-explanation doesn't really work, contrary to Slayer killing Asmo in a way that he is already mortally wounded/defenseless in Caemlyn and then just taken to TAR to give his last breath.
I am determined to prove, before it's revealed, that Lanfear killed Asmodean.

IMO, the difference is that Ishy was strongly connected to the DO, when he died in TAR. *NM*

But Ishy channeled the TP; thus the DO was more aware of him in TAR. *NM*

I don't see how that really makes a difference

At least Asmo didn't channel the TP, when he died; this could be the difference to Ishy. *NM*

Well, the TP is not related to who killed Asmo, in my view

That has nothing to do with the identity of the killer.
