But your theory completely relies on this thought darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 27/05/2010 11:48:48 AM
RJ just said that it is intuitively obvious who killed Asmo. The how and where was just to explain why Asmo wasn't transmigrated. Nothing says that the explanation to this is as obvious as the identity of the killer. However, one has to find a solution to explain that these factors fit to your killer. IMO, the "weak balefire used by Graendal not at SG"-explanation doesn't really work, contrary to Slayer killing Asmo in a way that he is already mortally wounded/defenseless in Caemlyn and then just taken to TAR to give his last breath.

I'm not confusing the two points, it's just that if you want your theory to hold water, all the elements that go into it MUST be "intuitively obvious" at the time of Asmo's death. The manner and place of his death are an important clue to the identity of Asmo's killer.

Regardless of this point, I still say the scene itself refutes your accounting of Asmo's death and certainly the way you describe this is not intuitively obvious. Why would the reader have any reason to think Asmo died in TAR? We don't even know how Slayer enters TAR at this time in the series as his scenes in the Two Rivers make if vague, even after his wounding he goes back to where his body was last seen before he reappears.

I am determined to prove, before it's revealed, that Lanfear killed Asmodean. - 26/05/2010 05:36:59 AM 1370 Views

IMO, the difference is that Ishy was strongly connected to the DO, when he died in TAR. *NM* - 26/05/2010 07:55:47 PM 374 Views
Re: IMO, the difference is that Ishy was strongly connected to the DO, when he died in TAR. - 26/05/2010 08:25:36 PM 762 Views
But Ishy channeled the TP; thus the DO was more aware of him in TAR. *NM* - 26/05/2010 08:33:45 PM 335 Views
I don't see how that really makes a difference - 26/05/2010 08:43:58 PM 788 Views
At least Asmo didn't channel the TP, when he died; this could be the difference to Ishy. *NM* - 26/05/2010 08:46:44 PM 342 Views

Well, the TP is not related to who killed Asmo, in my view - 26/05/2010 09:34:42 PM 793 Views
That doesn't make sense - 26/05/2010 09:40:10 PM 747 Views
