The Dark One is the same. He wants to utterly destroy everything, so that he can undo time. For him, the Wheel is an eyesore. He wants to create the anti-Creation, but he can't do it while he's in prison and while the Pattern is sitting where he wants to build his house. Naturally everyone thinks he's the most evil thing ever, especially because he wants to eradicate everyone and everything. However, the Creator would do the same if the DO ever imprisoned him, and he managed to get out.

Think about it, the Creator imprisoned the DO at the moment of creation. Thus the DO was free all the way up until the Wheel came into existence. Seems logical that in order to be free Shai'tan will have to destroy the Wheel, in effect making the Wheel his actual prison.

Perhaps as you say he'll remake the Pattern in his own vision, and imprison the Creator, in effect making the DO the Creator and the Creator the DO.

The Creator may have put the DO in a hole and built his house on it, and thus it's as you say. Or he imprisoned him and made the Wheel at the same time.

I'm pretty sure the Myrddraal, Trollocs and anything else with the essence of the TP in them consider the DO to be their saviour and the Creator to be the devil. It seems like shadowspawn have inherent evil in them, and resist the pattern for no apparent reason. They can't even Travel. That's a hint of what anti-creation is.
