Egwene's stated goal is to tie all channelers to the tower, do you not think she would at least start this process with those who already are supposed to be a part of it?

Every single Aes Sedai KNOWS that the Tower is the most important thing in the world. They shouldn't, but they do. I cannot believe that you are seriously saying that those who didn't actively participate in the conflict need to be (re)tied to the Tower. Merise? Corele? The sister with the BL army? They're Aes Sedai and as such can do as they damn well please. The only slightly unlawful thing they have done was not obeying Elaida's summons to the Tower. Eggy may be miffed that they didn't want to choose sides, but she'll have to suck it up.

I surely can't influence the sequence of events that Jordan envisioned, but I do see more of a need for Cadsuane's character in the tower than I do with Rand, where she has already achieved her goal of laughter and tears.

The final goal is to make sure Rand succeeds. "Laughter and tears" was just a pit stop. Cadsuane knows things about the Prophecies that no one else seems to. She was the one who knew that Callandor was flawed. And she should just forget all that and go to the Tower?

In the Seanchan attack, the green ajah learned that despite their stated mission, they really aren't that effective at it. They need a leader that is experienced and non-politically motivated. Cadsuane's abrasiveness, her intelligence, her legendary image, her experience, and even her various ter'angreal would make her an ideal candidate for such a role.

We've been given a very positive image of Adelorna, from Egwene in KoD, for example. Egwene complimented her courage in tGS. She was AS who gave us the image that the WT sucked in defending itself. And you're saying that she should be cast aside NOW?
