Sorry man lol. I don't think Egwene is annoying in the slightest. I think she's my favorite character (as much as any one char. could be my favorite). I think the reason Egwene is usually right, and always believes she is right, is because she's usually one of the only people (in her vicinity) that has any idea what's going on around her, and doesn't have her head up her arse. Egwene stands alone in a sea of bullgoose fool Aes Sedai and does what needs to be done. She tends to see to the heart of a problem, and she tends to extract the truth from almost any information/situation. I think this makes her an exceptionally strong character. If it's annoying to read a character who always thinks she is right because she is always right then as readers we just don't know what we want anymore.

I agree completely that Tuon and Egwene are not overly-similar characters. I just meant that in a position of leadership, at a very young age, they both show good judgement and capability which is more than we can say for most people twice their age.
