Not that the feudalists in Randland are better, but to say Seanchan society is perfect is blinded at best and delusive at worst.

Did someone say it was perfect? It's glaringly obvious to every one of us that it isn't perfect. The Seanchan have been described as monsters by the main characters often enough. But it's nowhere near the worst.


Agreed. But the key aspect of why it's wrong is that the Empress is treated like a God. Just because Tuon hasn't abused her power in major ways doesn't mean that won't happen. Had any of her siblings killed her, they may have ruled quite differently.

So while I agree that Seanchan is better NOW, I think it would be terrible if after the LB, they controlled the entirety of Randland.
