and I'm guessing that had a lot to do with it. He would read his advanced copies later than anyone else, and not accept invites to go eat with RJ, etc. (He did live in Michigan though, and the one I remember was in San Diego. IIRC Jason lives in California)
Yeah... I'm sure it has a lot to do with the fact there's long been no dedicated WOT fan at the helm of Wotmania, and the fact RAFO kind of made a point of distancing itself from WOT, around the same time the WOT sites were starting to collaborate more, and Tor was seing in the wot sites useful partners more than before.
I'm neither surprised nor displeased by this. It just is how it is. From my time at the 13D, I have a very good idea how much efforts the webmasters of the wot community put into their work - Jason basically never lost his passion for the series and for DM - they well deserve all the attention they get in return from Brandon, Harriet, Tor and co.
Jason's review... Looks like DomA was right

Everyone seems to think Rand will talk to Egwene, but a male channeler also makes sense

After his COT review, a less then gushing review isn't great

But he is specifically trying to avoid being overly fanboyish BECAUSE of that CoT review. *NM*
