Balefire's reversal of actions taken only works on living things that can perform said actions. TaskmasterJack Send a noteboard - 25/10/2010 09:36:46 PM
It burns their thread backward, undoing whatever that person has recently done. Probably only Jordan could have answered (and he may have, but I've never read of it) what level of intelligence the living things must possess to have their actions undone. Rand undoes the actions of Darkhounds, so there's some evidence it works beyond just for people. I would assume you could also balefire a dog who shit on your carpet to suddenly have a clean carpet as well. But could you balefire a mosquito to keep from getting an itchy bump?

My little tangent aside... I re-iterate: non-living things, including inanimate objects and one-power weaves, can not affect time by being balefired.

Agreed. I think Graendal's weave is only undone if the BF hits her, not the gateway *NM* - 25/10/2010 10:48:07 PM 268 Views

thats not true - 26/10/2010 01:18:16 AM 719 Views
It is true. Objects do not have threads that can be affected by balefire. - 26/10/2010 01:56:48 AM 675 Views
here is the quote from the sceen, it is not confusing, you were just to lazy to read it. - 26/10/2010 07:24:19 AM 650 Views

That has more to do with the nature of both weaves - 26/10/2010 05:07:48 PM 552 Views

Thank you for reminding us of the scene, but it doesn't sell me completely. - 27/10/2010 02:28:00 AM 753 Views
