However, I agree with you that there is no evidence to declare that balefire can or cannot affect a One Power weave, which is why I worded my previous response very carefully to indicate that it would not result in a temporal reversal, but I left out whether or not the targeted weave would be destroyed.


Rand wove a shield around himself when Osan'gar attacked him, and he said it would deflect everything except balefire.


That does not mean the shield would be destroyed. I took it to mean that it simply doesn't sheild against balefire, as in balefire passes through it.
