Darth Katie,

I think this quote is pertinent to your questions:

Barnes and Noble chat 11 November 1997

Rhonda Peters from Toronto, Ontario: Would you be willing to tell us a little more about the limits of healing with the One Power, as they're understood in the present day and/or the Age of Legends? Could someone heal a genetic condition like Huntington's or color blindness? A chromosomal defect like Downs Syndrome? A degenerative condition like arthritis?
RJ: Not with the form of Healing that is generally known. With the newly rediscovered forms of Healing, it would be quite possible, but with the newly rediscovered forms of Healing people would learn how to do it because everything is Healed differently with the new way.

On a different note: I remember Sidious recently posting some great questions about the One Power regarding, for example, the special abilities/effects of high strength in each of the Five Powers. Maybe these questions can be included in this list? (if Sidious is willing?)
