Nynaeve is a big girl and can make her own choices. Egwene is being reasonable to insist any who would call themselves AS are required to take the Oaths. Hate them though we might, at this point it's still the major point of differentiation between AS and all other women who can Channel. Blame the AS Organization and Nynaeve for this, not Egwene who is simply upholding the Law/Tradition etc...
The Wise Ones required Aviendha to go through the arches even knowing that could kill her and I don't hear anyone saying we should slap Amys for sending her off to a potential death before she can be accepted as a WO.
