She does intend to bring them to Tar Valon for her wedding so I'm not sure how she plans on blowing them off. More likely, they'll be so impressed that they won't say or even notice anything about it. 

I don't think so. From what we have seen and know of the Two Rivers Folk, while they can be swayed and shocked by some things, they still have a good head on their shoulders, and know when someone needs to be knocked down a peg.
