Um, because they had it in the past, does not mean they should have it now. Was what they had in the past better? And what is the new idea that Egwene has come up with?

Ok, I accept they had some experience of having kings in their control for some part of the three thousand years. But, you urself say it was established by kidnapping kings, so I am skeptical if this experience will help them establish a stable continent now. Why cant the tower accept Rand's quasi-empire?
And can you explain, what a tower of full potential is? Does it mean, a continent held in the grip of Aes Sedai?



Yes. I want the Aes Sedai to become true servants, rather than servants in name. That IMO, leads to the general good of the channelers and the public. Are her actions contributing to this?

Rand hasnt died, is still surviving, and hasnt retired. He needs everyone to help him, not waste time on playing one-upmanship games, with nations that the WT dominates. He is putting up good people to govern. What if Rand says once he goes away, the people he picked can continue to rule. That solves your claim of uncertainty after Rand's death. Or he can also say that the WT will guide (not rule) the nations after TG. If egwene was level-headed and put this suggestion to Rand, he would agree, wouldn't he?


The WT might be changing, but its opposition to Rand exists. Its priorities are not right. So, what's the point, even with these changes that you say people are not noting?



And what's her answer to that? Try to change the mindset of the WT, or just go on in Aes Sedai business as usual fashion.

Why shouldnt her power be reduced? After all she is Aes Sedai too, she has to submit to the will of all Aes Sedai's.


Um, first, she could have refused to become Amrylin. But, she didn't do that, and I dont understand why. Because after all shouldn't an Accepted think something's wrong in her becoming Amrylin? Let's say she decided to take up the mantle of Amrylin to do her duty of helping heal the WT.


Why does she continue to be Amrylin? What does she think she will achieve by doing what she does? It is not self-evident to me at all. I can but think of two reasons.
Continue to heal and unify the WT? If so, why so much opposition to Rand?

Or does she think she can help at TG? Then, why not assist Rand? This Rand too is an idiot, he should have explained to her, why he wanted to break the seals. Instead of just saying, I will break the seals, be prepared.

I do agree with you, in a sense, that the WT needs to be unified, and that the other Aes Sedai might take even stupider decisions than Egwene with respect to Rand and TG. But, Egwene still needs to change her mindset. Its not one of co-operation with others, but domination.


I dont have that sort of time now. And I will be frank here, I dont want to go thru all that again.
