First time, they knew nothing of what was going to happen. If the asha'man had said "Hey, I'm going to use your power to create a weapon" and the Aes Sedai fully believes him...will the oaths prevent her from doing it?
I would think that they wouldn't be able to do that. It seems like too easy of an out. You know them Sisters and their loopholes though.
