Re: Have some question Skeeve the Great Send a noteboard - 28/11/2010 07:01:38 PM

That's exactly my point.

Brandon made very exciting and complicated story line. And most people immediately started to blame him for their own fallacy.

Basically, there were no messed up scene, it's you who have messed up the storyline in your mind, but was very quick to dump a lot of crap on Brandon.

My not remembering the scene perfectly doesn't detract from my original point nor does it make it invalid. I disagree with the OP and think the timeline and storyline are horribly mixed up between both books. It's awkwardly handled and confusing, especially to the casual reader. If I'm not supposed to blame Brandon for that then whom would you suggest I blame instead? He wrote the books.

C xx

How about to blame yourself for a change? For a casual reader, like me, Brandon didn't horribly mixed up anything. I was perfectly able to get the story line straight the first time I read ToM with no problem.

Excluding your faulty example of Perrin, what else exactly was horribly messed up?

Disagree strongly on the time line issue - TOM showed what a mistake splitting by 'clusters' was IMO - 27/11/2010 07:24:55 AM 1048 Views
