Olver's just a brat.


Because being a brat is about how you act not how you think. Olver doesn't act like a brat. Now the one thing "bad" he did which was open the letter he didn't do out of malice or spite but what a child thinks is right. And he is a child who knows what is right or wrong even when he doesn't know how to distinguish between protection and repression.
