I figured Verin the "dark friend" might have stolen and used this device during his healing. He certainly needed some luck at the time. It was after his healing that the dice started rattling in his head.

This is so stretched that if it was so it would be extremely lame.


also, the dice didn't literally rattle in his head until much much later. i forget exactly when, maybe as late as when he gets to ebou dar? but yeah, that whole thing about verin + ter'angreal is weak.
