This just proves that the AS are a skewed sample. Their current numbers are skewed towards weakness. A 1000 years ago, they were less skewed. Maybe some years before that, they were skewed towards strength.

The point is, when you include all sorts of restrictions in your sampling, there's no predicting where the final statistics will go. If you randomly ask people to come for an IQ test at one location in the whole continent and then try to extrapolate the date onto the whole continent, you'd get skewed results. The averages will be way off, and the upper and lower limits will not be representative either. That's what has happened with the AS.
