Everyone in the third age accepts the fact that it is, but does that really mean that it is. Have we gotten any statements from the AoL folks that back up that idea? It is made with a relatively simple weave, perhaps it can be unmade just as easily. If so, this would explain why it was not used more in the AoL. Would you want a cuendiar house if some practical joker could just walk by, slap it with a weave of sprit and turn it to dust?

Don't know one way or the other, just a thought.


We know they were used for the Dark One's seals.. so that says something about it. The DO seals did break, but that's at least 3000 years of the DARK ONE exerting all his energies (not the One Power) against it, so it must at least be fairly indestructible.

Note that they specifically mentioned any amount of the "One Power" used against it only makes it stronger, that says nothing about the True Power.
