Namely:
"None of them [Suroth and Galgan] would listen to suggestions that they should be looking for allies among the people of this land, rather than enemies", seems somewhat strange.

After all, the Seanchan are military and politically cooperating with Altara, Tarabon and the Whitecloaks (or at least Asunawa & his Questioners now). We also now from CoT, ch.6, that Suroth and Masema had some connections, since Suroth apparently gave Masema a personal letter of protection (or was it forged by someone, maybe Semirhage?


The new rulers of Altara, Amadicia and Tarabon are sworn vassals of the Emperess.
