When Rand sees a vision of the Age of Legends, there are ripples the moment the Dark One is freed. So I don't think it has to do with the seals. It's likely they occur when the Dark One hurls his power at the Pattern, and it creates tremors in reality.


Wouldn't there be ripples once again when the seals break and he can touch the world like he did in the Age of Legends?
