Even worse, Tuon and other sul'dam are channelers, as well. According to their standards, even if they choose not to learn, they are still "unclean". She is very much a hypocrit.
Understanding their history doesn't excuse their inhumanity, and I'm not too impressed with peace achieved by tyranny - that is esentially what the Seanchan impose.
