I don't believe in slavery, and especially not when it is used to change a conscious being with free will into an automaton. The Seanchan sacrifice a lot of what I consider to be human attributes in exchange for order.

Even worse, Tuon and other sul'dam are channelers, as well. According to their standards, even if they choose not to learn, they are still "unclean". She is very much a hypocrit.

Understanding their history doesn't excuse their inhumanity, and I'm not too impressed with peace achieved by tyranny - that is esentially what the Seanchan impose.
