I always thought she was the most dangerous of the chicks.

For this reason, he was forced to commit a mass atrocity to capture her.
I don't see it as such. Even if their minds were still intact, getting rid of a Forsaken is a good and necessary end in itself. He didn't put them there, so their proximity to Graendal is not his problem. It was the one thing she wouldn't anticipate... or would she? Either way, although Lews Therin established his fear of falling into Semirhage's hands, he made a big scene about Graendal and her lethal nature.
Getting captured by Semirhage would be extremely unpleasant, but falling into Graendal's hands would be worse if not as painful. He would merely suffer with Semirhage, but under Graendal he would no longer exist. Even if he was still turning food into poop, for all intents and purposes he would not be himself any more. The situation RJ described answering why people are afraid of death if they are just reincarnated effectively applies to people taken by Graendal - they might go on in some sense, but the personality and mind and all the rest of that is gone.

I think she's the most deadly and intelligent. The others are idiots, IMHO.

Here's the deal, though. Semirhage actions actually followed part of the theory to a tee.

It's quite simple logic.

Still no answers. I think I'm correct in feeling she is alive. *NM*

I think she escaped, but it says something that he had to become worse than a Forsaken to do it

Thanks for reminding me. Oh well, then I'm stuck with the whole tearing apart the Pattern thing

I don't think it's acceptable to tear apart the Pattern to save it.
