We all thought we knew what the "blindness" prophecy was, and it turned out to be a metaphor.
The three shall be one could be many things- the obvious one is Rand, Elayne and Aviendha. But it could be simply some big bonding thing he does with Callandor (bonding three things together). It could be him leading the Seancean, the Westlands, and Shara into battle under Callandor.
Heck, he could even be captured by a male a'dam, and they force him to use Callandor. That's three as one, right there.
Just saying, don't get too snippy. It's not definite.
