Rand as the wandering begger AgentOrange Send a noteboard - 12/11/2009 01:24:54 PM
Some people think Rand has fulfilled this when he walked around Ebou Dar for half an hour as an annonymous. I don't this this is case. He is supposed to have a blindfold or be blind ( depends on your interpretation ) .
If I can extrapolate more on this prophecy from the the depiction of the Kingfisher, the wounds are supposed to tear open at this moment. OTOH during his Ebou Dar walkabout Rand's wounds weren't particularly worrisome.

I have a different idea. Now that Rand has come to terms with himself, he won't forget Moridin is in his head. How can Rand make plans for Tarmon Gaidon when Moridin is there ? Perhaps the wandering scenario is a part of Rand allowing his peeps to make plans without him knowing ? I allow this doesn't explain how he is to deal with his own ideas but it's a start.

One could argue he already was blind while he wandered in TGS. - 12/11/2009 02:19:47 PM 484 Views

Doesn't this thread violate the tGS spoiler policy? - 16/11/2009 06:55:03 PM 505 Views
