The first half of ToM will overlap chornologically with the second half of TGS. Roughly.

Also, Sanderson said at one of the booksignings that Graendal would have some sort of presence in ToM.


The part about Graendal having some sort of "presence" is out of context. Here is what TMJ reported:

Brandon admitted there would be overlapping chronology between The Gathering Storm and The Towers of Midnight and that Graendal’s name will be mentioned a few times.

Having "presence" vs. being "mentioned" is a significant difference. Looks more like BS was saying "Don't look forward to seeing her again".
