"RAFO" has usually been interpreted as "this will be cleared up in a later book so I won't spoil it here", but in that interview Sanderson sometimes seems to use it as "this will not be cleared up any further, you'll have to work out an answer for yourself based on the information you've been given, and won't ever know what RJ thought about it".
