I think what it is is that the gholam just realized, "Hey, I worked hard all those years, squishing through keyholes, WHICH REALLY HURTS BY THE WAY, killing people left and right, and then I get stuck in a freaking box for 3,000 years with a bunch of random junk and nothing to do. And now they trot me out without so much as a how-do-you-do and send me off hunting people again. Well, I did it and that one guy was very mean and burned me with that fox thing and I'm just tired of it. This is a nice place and all I really want is to get myself a nice little cottage and and get some sheep and tend to them (and suck their blood of course) and relax. If the end of times is near, why should I break my back? Seriously, what am I going to get out of it? I'll just cease to exist like everyone else. Well screw that. Those jerks never appreciated me in the first place and let's just see how they get on without ol' Steven J. Gholam for once. I bet they'll wish they had been nicer to me! So yeah, I think those two guys are just done. Not gonna see 'em again. It's the easy life for them now.
