I have a pet theory that Lanfear's lost strength went to Moiraine, and Moiraine will be as strong as Cadsuane. This will allow both Moiraine and Cadsuane to have equal footing according to Tower customs, so that neither is shunned because of deference, and both help the Dragon Reborn.


I think this is much more plausible than secret angreals, DO boosts or short people can't channel as well :)

I also agree that it's more reasonable to assume that there was some kind of strength swap giving a boost to Cadsuane(ish) level (if Cyndane is 20% weaker perhaps that makes Moirain 50% stronger. The big question is HOW could it have happened!
