She's the only Forsaken at the time that is trying to suss out Rand's abilities... and this attack seemed way too amateurish to the work of Demandred and far too upfront to be the work of Graendal


The Forsaken - among them Semirhage - were just greatly defeated at the Cleansing (and one of them even died), although two of the most powerful Lightside channelers, Rand & Nynaeve, didn't participate in the battle. She also knows that Rand killed other Forsaken before and has super powerful sa'angreal & ter'angreal. Finally, what conclusion did Semirhage draw then from the complete annihilation of the Trolloc army, while no one important among Rand's group was seriously hurt? That she and 6 rather unprepared damane without any backup troops are indeed sufficient to defeat Rand & Co.?

Seems very unlikely.
