IIRC, the 5 Powers are never really mentioned, when Moridin uses the TP. On the other hand, Rand just seems to channel as usual, it's e.g. said that he "wove enormous spears of Fire and Air". The only difference seems to be that he has another power to make these weaves. Therefore I would agree that the weavings are basically the same (as you said, BS's answer indicates this as well).
