... Brandon's answer to that question pretty much confirms that the TP (like the OP) comprises the 5 powers: Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Spirit?

That would have to be the case, if the weavings are basically the same (for a given effect, like balefire) for both the TP & the OP, which seems to be what he's saying.

Something I've always wondered about ...


IIRC, the 5 Powers are never really mentioned, when Moridin uses the TP. On the other hand, Rand just seems to channel as usual, it's e.g. said that he "wove enormous spears of Fire and Air". The only difference seems to be that he has another power to make these weaves. Therefore I would agree that the weavings are basically the same (as you said, BS's answer indicates this as well).
