How many relationships do you want them to have over 2 years?

Throughout the book, there have been several character relationships that I wanted to happen, and I think would have been awesome if they DID happen, but have yet to occur. For example, I loved the interaction between Mat and Elayne, and really wished they could have somehow hooked up. I also loved Mat and Joline, especially in The Gathering Storm. Two others that I thought would have been cool are:
Mat and Elayne should have hooked up while Elayne was pining over Rand, Mat had an irrational fear of nobels and they hated each other's guts? Well, maybe they could have slept together, but there was really no relationship there.

I agree that Perrin and Berelain would have been more dynamic than Faile

I hate that there are relationships: They're trying to save the world; they can F**k afterwards!

No one's relationship has interfered with saving the world

Good point. Perrin is a bit dim and the cojones are another handy way to nudge him along *NM*

I think there was a direct response from RJ about Elayne not being Ilyena reborn

Faile and a big knife or sharpened stake also come to mind. As do Perrin and Berelain. *NM*

I don't think so; both of their POVs actually showed a mutual appreciation.

Darn you are right. Although I would have prefered the Slean incarnation of Lanfear. *NM*
