For example, for me, the restriction on Travelling doesn't make sense at all. I mean "know the place you are Travelling FROM, not the place where you are Travelling TO". That's weird, isn't it?
That one doesn't bother me too much. Skimming requires that you know where you are Travelling TO (not FROM), so both combinations are covered. I'm OK with that.
For me, the weirdest thing that's happened in the series so far is when Moggy ripped Birgitte from TAR and essentially created a new body/life for her (with Elayne's help). I'd have never guessed that was possible, not in a million years.
That one is very strange IMO too ... wonder if RJ ever explained that or if we got a RAFO...
East of the Sun Con, Stockholm, Sweden June 1995 - Karl-Johan Norén reporting
When Moghedien ripped out Birgitte from Tel'aran'rhiod she "short-circuited" the Pattern, by bringing in an adult "in the flesh" instead of letting Birgitte join Gaidal Cain the "normal" way. He said also that Gaidal Cain may not have any role to play in Tarmon Gai'don.
