I was going for the Alviarin Mark which is probably the same as the forsaken have. It's the same one that allows SH to cut them off from the source and such. It's basically givin the DO power over there 'soul' like the whole deal with the devil bit. Hence my thoughts that it would block the Oath rod because a previous binding is already in place.


I'll have to go dig up the quote, but RJ explicitly stated that Alviarin's mark was different than what the Forsaken's mark was.
