Elayne and Nynaeve sort of merge to be a character, at times. Neither alone counts as a main character in say, Tanchino, or Salidar, or Ebou Dar but together they do.


In more recent books, Elayne has split off onto her own, leaving Nynaeve to follow Rand around (and also do that whole badass Lan thing), so I'd say she needs a plotline of her own, other than "hang around Rand or Cadsuane."

Doesn't make me like her less, just means she's not being used to her full potential.
