So how does Slayer know exactly where Asmodean is? And then why does he take the body (he never has before)?

~Jeordam

Learned from his patron (Graendal or maybe Lanfear, most likely) that Asmo stays with Rand and eventually got a good opportunity to kill Asmo in the rather deserted Caemlyn Palace (a location that least Luc would know very well).

Likely Slayer was also ordered to get rid of the body to suggest to Rand, that Asmo ran away (Slayer probably brought Asmo to TAR).

Ok...where is could be. Not where he is. If Slayer was told by his patron that Asmodean would be around Rand, then you'd think that he would be loitering in the palace around the Grand hall where Rand was. Instead, the murderer was inside of a random hallway off of a fountained courtyard...a hallway which was on the way to the kitchens. How in the world would Slayer know that Asmodean would be right there...right then.

And then taking off with the body isn't his MO. Slayer likes a flashy, bloody mess....not a stealth kill.

As for Lord Luc knowing the palace....he was there when he was, what, a teen/early 20's....and that was, what, 25+ years ago. Do you think that he would be able to navigate the cooridors like a champ after all those years?

I mean...this is even more far fetched then my quasi-theory that Graendal could make a Compulsion weave which unravels itself upon use. I mean, if the ham-fisted Sammael can make a Compulsion weave on a messanger...where the answer to the question triggers a response which lets Sammael know the answer...well I think that the only Forsaken with a Talent for Compulsion could manage a little somethin somethin to keep the sheepherder off her back.
