I like her style. I think it's light and easy, and has something to offer both children and adults. There's simple storytelling with a little embellishment, and there's not much unnecessary stuff, which is good. It is certainly her most simplistic book, but that's very appropriate since it's aimed at 10-11 year olds.

I really like, however, that she doesn't talk down to children. She doesn't make the words too easy, and she provides enough interest in her choice of words to keep children going. Learning new words rocks, and Rowling knows that.

It's nice, and easy to read, and there's nothing jarring.
