I realise that it would probably be a good thing for me to try participate actively in these kinds of things. For example, when I read what you say about the language, I agree completely, yet I didn't think about it when I read the chapters myself.

But yes, this book is quite funny, in a sort of understated way. Reminds me a lot of Astrid Lindgren's The Six Bullerby Children
