I was wondering where you got the 200 so I went digging into my book and it just says "Behind the Slytherin goal posts, 200 people wearing green". It could be that there are people in other houses who are supporting Slytherin for the cup and wearing their colors and sitting at there end. So maybe that's not an accurate measure for the number of Syltherins. Because I agree that it's way to many given the other information we have on the number of students in each house. I agree with Legolas' estimate. That's what I had in mind as well.


She also says that all the other houses were supporting Gryffindor because they didn't want Slytherin to win the Cup. So either way there's some mix up. ;)
