I was thinking the same things a couple days ago Fox and Ravens Send a noteboard - 22/09/2010 02:22:49 PM
I am just starting a nice little place here for people who are growing to hate him.

Robert Jordan put out a book, died, managed to get another book out and has a second one set for release on Election Day (Erection Day for those of you in Japan), and George R.R. Martin is in Australia dicking around and still hasn't gotten out his book.

This post is not for people who want to get defensive and post what Neil "I think I'm God but I'm really just a shitty comic book writer" Gaiman had to say on the subject.

This is for people who just want to vent, for people who want to utter voodoo curses and generally shit on Martin's scraggly cat-loving beard.

Let me link some of the better Martin hate sites out there. One still links wotmania (yay!...er, I think...or should I be sad?).

"Finish the Book, George" (nice, Canterbury Tales-ish appearance)
http://grrrm.livejournal.com/

"The Slothenly Author" (cute chick photo is an added plus)
http://krkreuk.livejournal.com/

"Is Winter Coming?" (I'm sure Cersei is, somewhere)
http://iswintercoming.proboards.com/

Ah...I feel better already, knowing there are people out there who are as fed up as I am.

What was it, 2...3 years ago when he said he'd have DwD done by the time he went on vacation? That's waaaaayyyy too f***ing long. it should have been done like so many times over by now. I mean, Sanderson has been able to get 3 books out in a year. That's pretty damn good. Why can't GRRM get 1 book out in 5?? Is that really too much to ask?

The ONLY way I'd be appeased with this wait is if he releases both DwD and Winds of Winter back to back. And the only way, all will be forgiven is he bundles those two books for the price of 1. GRRM, get off your arse right now and write! If you die before you finish this series....so help me God...
Go Hokies!

CS/CpE. Yay engineering!

Far more people watched B&B than have read ASoIaF. - 23/09/2010 07:01:22 PM 1216 Views

I'm not sure Brandon Sanderson could finish the series, either. - 23/09/2010 03:33:52 AM 1019 Views
Sadly, I would be satisfied with this. - 23/09/2010 03:01:04 PM 1125 Views

There is more than an expectation. - 23/09/2010 03:30:32 AM 1079 Views
You know whenever the new book is ever released, it'll sell even more copies due to the wait, right? - 22/09/2010 11:06:37 PM 1141 Views
Bisson was already working on it when Miller died, IIRC - 22/09/2010 11:17:50 PM 1111 Views
Close enough - 22/09/2010 11:26:51 PM 1141 Views
Not neccessarily. There are plenty of series that I started but didn't finish because I lost - 24/09/2010 12:58:10 AM 978 Views
